Leading Financial Services Company is looking to hire an Oracle Developer for a permanent role in Dublin City Centre.

The Role:
  • You would work within the Software Development Team, a multi-disciplined, high performing team of 7 Software Developers.
  • Working initially in the areas of database, reporting and data integration technologies.
  • Depending on the particular project, development tasks will have a mixture of business and technical deliverables.
  • All development will require a high degree of co-operation with other team areas within the IT unit.
  • Training is available.


Requirements:
  • A degree in a computing or science related discipline.
  • 2/3 years of experience as an Oracle Developer.
  • Good understanding of PL/SQL.
  • An inquisitive nature to query other team members on specific technology or business issues.
  • Desirable skills include Crystal Reports, Business Objects XI and Web Intelligence.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with business clients.
  • Drive & resilience to take initiative.
  • Ability to focus on the customer and deliver to deadlines.
  • Discipline & rigor combined with strong commitment to quality & standards.
  • Good problem solving skills.
