The role of the Export Documentation Manager is to manage the continuous operation of our clients Irish and one overseas Documentation (E-Doc) business model.
Responsibilities:
Process management
- Manage processes to ensure the delivery of “Excellence in Customer Service Management”.
- Ensure departmental completion of all Export Documentation and ensure compliance for all destination countries shipping from Ireland and one overseas market, in line with each countries specific rules and regulations.
- Ensure all documentation is 100% accurate before departure of goods fromIreland.
- Ensure all procedures and processes allow for changes in Export Countries Legislation.
- Respond to all queries in a timely manner with accurate and complete information.
- Maintain professional working practices within the department
- Responding positively to change by re-engineering procedures/practices
- Preparation of Weekly, Monthly & Quarterly Reports.
Customer Relationship Management
- Develop effective relationships with key stakeholders in client company if / when required
- Attend customer meetings and QBR’s where applicable.
- Ensure all customer issues are resolved and responded to in a proactive timely manner
- Maintain a positive working relationship with customers
- Clear communication and interaction with customers
People Management
- Provide training, guidance and assistance to staff.
- To ensure that Export Documentation Staff are performing to a high and professional standard.
- Delivers performance management tools for direct reports and ensures training & development interventions to enhance team skillsets.
- Effective people management to ensure all staff (team of 13) understand and meet customer objectives/requests.
Requirements:
- At least 4 years’ experience in a management / supervisory role in Supply Chain / Logistics / Distribution industry
- Generally, a minimum of four years’ experience in supply chain / operations management / supervisory role in a busy office environment is required.

- An experiential understanding of the role of a service provider
- Candidates must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Outlook).
