This person will be responsible for: * Managing existing relationships with core partners and customers in the ecosystem ensuring that the company's relevancy as part of the total value chain is maximized at all times. * Identifying, prospecting and developing new customers, analyzing their needs and building commercial relationships with them. * Writing proposals in response to customer tenders, RFIs, RFPs etc. * Identifying prime contacts within customer organizations and developing an in-depth understanding of the decision making units within these organizations. * Providing competitive analysis and market and industry information on an ongoing basis to the business unit. * Providing market intelligence on key competitors and their strategies within the market place and making recommendations on contingency planning for S3 Group if required. * Continuously assessing S3 Group's core competencies and market differentiators and providing recommendations to the BU team on methods to improve the company's positioning and heighten profile globally. * Providing innovative and creative ideas for addressing new and emerging markets. * Negotiating contract conditions and ensuring that opportunities are being actively driven through the sales funnel. * Maintaining the company's customer database with up to date and clean, relevant data. Required: * At least five year's sales experience in the technology industry. (essential) * Experience of selling into mobile or broadcast operators. * Ability to operate in a highly dynamic environment. * Entrepreneurial, highly motivated, able to operate autonomously and very commercially aware of the needs of new product and venture development. * Ability to engage with existing and new customers of S3 Group, to understand their application requirements and to present S3 Group's solutions in an effective and professional manner. * Ability to develop long-term business relationships with customers. * Ability to strategically influence the direction of the business. * Willingness to travel frequently worldwide.
